Why Dare To Be?

Until recently, my hobbies and passions have been pushed under the rug due to the intense demands of veterinary school coupled with the stress associated with simply growing up.  Therefore, Dare To Be Photography was created with a purpose.

 

For me:

D2B is a way for me to reconnect with a hobby that fuels my heart. Sharing my photography and offering my services will force me to redirect my time away from being stressed and studying at all hours of the day and more towards going on adventures, meeting new people, and being happy.  I am daring myself to choose happiness and to take care of myself in all that I pursue, and I want to share this happiness with you...keep reading!

Our world is very photo-oriented and controlled by social media these days, most of it unfortunately having a negative effect on our emotions and how we view ourselves when we compare ourselves to others. However, we can shatter these standards together.

 

I DARE you to be:

-confident in your own skin; pose for the camera!

-adventurous; explore somewhere new!

-proud of your hobbies; pursue them and show them off!

-unapologetically yourself ​

I would be honored to capture all of these moments for you. If I can get just one person to show up to a horse show, explore a new place, or feel confident in their own skin just because, "Emily's pictures look cool" then that's a win for me, and you!

Do your thing. Do it unapologetically. Don't be discouraged by criticism. Pay no mind to the fear of failure. Take ownership, take chances, and have fun. And no matter what, don't ever stop doing your thing.
